In order to do this Gold Guns first has to strip all the original finish from the rifle. Then work on polishing all the exterior metal surfaces before cleaning the firearm, more polishing and then more cleaning. It is all very time consuming and a detailed process. Once that is all complete Gold Guns can do what they do best, apply the Gold. All metal parts are finished with Gold. The exceptions being of the bolt assembly, and other springs and tightly tolerance items(example:rear sight leaf spring). You will also see the stock hardware and pistol grip screw receive the Gold Treatment. This all comes together with the original Polish Laminate Stock set and Bakelite Pistol Grip to set this apart from the rest. Nothing compares to this high polish finish and it is something that can best be appreciated in person. We understand that may not be for everyone (pricepoint, personal taste, etc).
